Your domain is your web address — yourbusiness.com, the thing a customer types or taps to find you. It's registered in your own name and stays yours, renewed separately for about $20 a year, never bundled into a hosting fee.

Yes to both. Your domain is registered in your own name (we recommend Squarespace Domains), and if you ever move on we hand over the full site as a ready-to-use HTML zip file that any developer can pick up.
Your site is placed on Pause, and visitors see a short maintenance notice, until payment is made or the site and domain are transferred to you. You keep the HTML files and your domain either way. Nothing is deleted.
You'll see your first demo within 3 business days of sending your logo and a photo. After payment, the $289 landing page has DNS and hosting live within 5 days; the six-page Gold or Platinum Standard site within 21 days.
